FUNDING
We are excited to announce that Cambridge Blockchain Group has secured government funding through the ‘Innovate UK Smart Grant’ programme. The funds will be used to accelerate our work developing a state-of-the-art technology platform that supports smart contract auditors with the important task of testing smart contracts for security and functional vulnerabilities.

Smart contracts are a key target for bad actors in the Web3 space. In 2022 funds lost through smart contract hacks totalled $2.7bn, which represents a 1250% increase from 2020 (Bankless Times, 2022). Smart contract auditors perform a vital role in detecting and supporting the remediation of vulnerabilities in smart contract code.

Audits are typically performed by experienced audit teams using an array of disparate specialist tools; however, the manual nature of smart contract auditing limits scalability, speed and accuracy. This innovation uses a combination of integration, automation, orchestration and AI/ML technologies to support auditors by significantly increasing their efficiency and effectiveness.
